ya, i have small graveyard for small trees, as i assume we all do. but, i have learned from most of the dead, so i guess its worth it in the long run. (with tongue in cheek) - that's a beautiful tree poots.
i remember when i got my very first tree, juniper indoors, we all know that one. my second tree, some years later, was also a juniper. i didn't know a thing, but knew you were supposed to shape them. so i tied branches in the general direction i wanted them to go with STRING!!!man, a whole thread could be started about embarassing mishaps in bonsai. i think i'll start it up in the general area. chris
