Quince is flowering

Here is my japanese quince 'toyo nishiki', I brought it inside last week as the flower buds were swelling and some freezing nights were forecast (last year almost all the flowers were frozen off).

At first I thought there would only be white flowers this year. But over the past few days it has been really nice and warm so I put the quince out on the porch and many of the flowers turned pink. These have got to be one of my favourite flowers:

Cheers
Ian
