I posted these shohin (6" tall) before in show and tell, here is a foliage update with my winter pics in the 2 links, then spring flowers and summer leaf. If the sun will ever come back out of hiding (we've had 3 weeks of daily rain and overcasting clouds) I will get around to wiring all the branches and hopefuly all the new leaf buds will pop...someday.

Very nice. Is that a raft? If so, how long ago did you create it?

Hi Zoot and Thanks, I got that handmade pot in a trade, I had rooted a bunch of various cuttings and traded material for 16 pots. The bottom has drain and wire holes and is lipped for good drainage, it only looks like it sits flat. When I ordered it I asked for a natural unglazed colour, not relizing the type of clay they were using natural ment a light shade of pink..lol, I ended up painting the pot and going over that with a sealant. It is holding up under the elemnts well and is a good pot but not right for the tree really.
