This is what I was talking about this tree has just come from the field and is cut back for the grow box, growing container or bonsai pot. Here is the first side.

Letters as scale

Using the letters as scale, this tree is 1 3/4 in. at the root spread and 5in. from soil line to apex. This last picture is of the roots from the bottom.

Glenn, nice little tree. When you take your pictures could you try and get a little more light on the tree. I would love to see the trunk clearly and it is a bit dark in the pictures. That said.... NICE work.

It must be hard as a grower. You put a lot of effort into the trees. Probably a lot more than any of us can realize. You are for all purposes a parent! You bring these trees (children) to us for comment and you get it. Sometimes the comments are well... your kid looks funny!

Basically I'm saying, I may take up with one of your trees but I do appreciate the work involved.

Jay

Beautiful material Glenn. Now, if you could just learn to SPELL, you'd surely be one of my BONSAI HEROES!

Just kidding huh!

Wierdowl, Glenn and I have been exchanging comments for quite awhile. I can't say that I know him really well, but I think it's safe to say we are friends. I'm sure that he knows that I like and respect him. Glenn's misspelling is legendary. He has poked fun at it himself at times. I feel sure that he took my remark as intended, as a joke and my poor attempt at humor.

FredL & Glenn

Ummm...Fred...in your reply to weirdowl, you spelled his name wrong.

Nice work Glenn! I know I've also messed with you about your spelling...but who cares...you grow some darn nice trees!
