Pinus virginiana
I have posted this tree over the years, but this post is primarily to focus on the container. It was made by Dave Lowman and I feel that it really contributes to the overall composition. I have made many not-so-good pot choices over the years, but I continually grow more fond of this one.

Good to see you're doing well with Va. Pine. Nice little tree. I haven't been able to successfully collect one.
I have a similar pot by Lowman. They're very nice. Mine is vacant this year. It's occupant, a Chinese elm, was a victim of Feburary's low temperatures. |
