Indeed! I love the pots - especially the one with the pine in it.
Who is the potter(s)? All the best, Carl / OMC

The first pot is one of Horsts (Heinzlreiter).
Hopefully this works http://webpdp.gator.com/v3/webpdp_v..._FortuneCityDT4 SOme of his pots are distinctly edible, yum, yum! |

HHmmmm, didn't think the direct link would work. Here is Horsts homepage http://go.to/heinzlreiter-bonsai
Then click on Bonsaischalen (Pots). You'll need to be patient with the pop ups, but its well worth a visit. There are 3 pages, you'll notice his style becomes more definitive, his most recent pots I particularly like. I have had some mail ordered and whole heartedly recommend his pots (I hope I'm not advertising here! Apologies if so )Mark |

Not at all! Thanks so much, Mark. They really are amazing pieces. I'm looking forward to going through the website in more detail now, once I get home from work. Cheers, Old Mister Crow

Karl you are blowing us away with some great trees and transformations. If possible, I know you said you english wasn;t the best, but do you have sequence of photos while you were actually doing the work on the trees. It would be great for you to walk us through what you were trying to do and what and why you decided to cut this or that branch. Does that makes sense? I think that kind of knowledge would be invaluble.

Hello David, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures my styling step for step become evident.
I try to draw. Greetings, Karl T.

Thats ok Karl. Thanks anyway. I just thought a lot of people could benefit from your knowledge of how you worked on your trees. Keep posting pics of your other trees as well.

I just bought two small Rosmarinus plants that where sold as spice. How long will it take for them to start showing some structure in the trunk? Is this a 10-year project I'm looking at or can I boost them with much soil and fertilizers to grow "old looking" in a few years?

Karl,
I can only echo the compliments of everyone else. Great styling and wonderful choice of pots! I particulaly like the textured finish to the round pot (I have something similar by China Mist waiting for a suitable tree) Great art Karl. Paul |
