Pinus Contorta from Chile

Hi there,

Last day I desided to do something with one of my Pinus Contorta. Please
Tell me your comments.
One cuestion. Is now a good time to do this type of works in my pines? I'm asking this becuse here in Chile we are in Late Fall...
