Don't over-style these babies. Look at how Kyosuke Gun and similar artists work with flowering vines...

Keep us posted on this one.

Best wishes,

OMG Kyosuke Gun is my hero!! I have 2 of his books, and they are very inspiring. Definately will keep it simple like him.

Apparently, they dont have those long, showy blooms. They flower in small clusters.

Kazuki, If I remember correctly, I think there are two types of Wisteria.... one Japanese and the other Chinese. Someone please jump in and help me here!!!

I remember the Chinese had smaller flowers and leaves and the Japanese had the long flowing flowers... I could be off on this but I think it is the case....

OMC,

Can you give us a book title or more info on Kyosuke Gun that we can reference, I'd like to see his work but don't know how to look it up?

Thanks

Lesley

Jay,

I thought i'd jump in and help you there is Wisteria floribunda (Japanese Wisteria) and Wisteria sinensis (chinese wisteria). Aparantley the Chinese wisteria has shorter racemes and more fragrant flowers, whereas japanese wisteria is the one we are al more familiar with.

Jonny.
