November Serissa in bloom

I am located in Zone 5 and for many years my Serissa has exhibited its heaviest bloom this time of year. It is been sited in its winter location (unheated garage under fluorescents) for only a week or so. During the rest of the year, it does bloom but only sporadically. Does anyone else in this zone share this type of behavior with this species? Thanks.

Regards,
Tom S.

Mine too

I have about 6 blooming too, probably the third time this year. They have all seen the temps down to almost frost, then into the enclosed breezeway for 2 weeks, now in the basement, with a big window, and florescents.

Mine started about the same time as Walt's and considering we live less than an hour apart, I don't really find that surprising.

For the most part, mine bloom all winter long and usually more if it stays warm and I water less. By the spring it seems as if the trees are completely invested in producing green, until fall. The best part is that cuttings that were struck in early summer are blooming now too.
