Nothing To Do, Either

Since we're talking a lot less bonsai things right now anyway, I thought I could to show you why I've been quite silent on the forum lately.

I've been taking photographs with my new SLR camera and here's one of the best photos I've taken so far (on my opinion, anyway).

Zeb, very nice picture. If it was me, and its not, I would try and shoot up a little more. Give the impression of the footsteps going off into the distance.... just my .02cents

Hi Zeb,

Very nice color. Can't see if it's sand or snow. I like it. What camera are you using ?

René, it's snow, contre-jour (against light). I'm using Canon EOS 300 with 28-90mm and 80-200mm zoom lenses.

Thank you for interest, both of you.

Here's another, frosty pine needles. Also contre-jour.

Zeb,
I too have nothing to do . But in the spirit of your post I would like to add this pic. It is a shot of the wind chimes that sound so wonderful in the other seasons now silenced with an overhanging mantle of snow. All that being said I will hopefully have shots of a tree or two after a winter pruning session tommorow.
Regards,
Jonathan
