Not A Real Autumn Picture BUT Also Nice

THX for your commends about my trident!

So you ask for more, BUT I got no other "autumn pictures" in the moment.

I just can show you another picture of one of my favorite trees. This is a cork-tree (?? Quercus suber ?). You know, the tree where the wine-bottle-sealing will be made of!

First picture show you the tree after a leave cut in april this year. This picture should give you an idea of the "tapering" of the tree(this is what my dictionary says)

Second shows like it looks today (after repotting it three weeks ago)

and

the third picture shows you where I waste the "cut off" from my collection during my autumn work ;-)

Well done, Martin!
That's one (another) spectacular tree. It has a very strong trunk and magnificent bark.
I think cork tree is an oak of one kind, Querqus something.
BTW, could you post a pic of that juniper in the upper right corner of the 1st picture? I think it's a beautiful tree, too.

Martin,
That dumpster proves you are the king of pruners. I just hope the tree survived!

Hi Zeb!
I saw that you are from finnland! Great! I work for a company that was in former times the NESTE OY. Maybe you'll know the petrol stations ;-)

The juniper? OK. Not the best picture and taken directly after the last pruning (think to te dumper ;-) )

They say that form follows function...

I was inspired by the bin's color and interesting texture.
No disrespect to the fine tree intended!
