Newly Styled Oak

This was a volunteer oak that I collected last year. Unfortunately I don't have a "before", but all of the branches that are currently wired were pointing way up and to the left of the picture.

Depth perception is certainly lost in this pic- the lower branches are actually facing toward the front and back, even though they look a bit strange in the image.

I'm still undecided on that little cluster that's hanging down- suggestions?

I really like the way the comunication has proceded in this thread. The transfer from sketch to vertual is exelent, at first I thought that the cuts had already been made. Exelent vertual! As always Clay, exelent drawing!

Clay, that's pretty interesting- I hadn't thought of chopping there. This is a blue oak, so the leaves are not terribly small and I'm not sure how well they'll reduce. If I did the chop, that would put the overall height at around 3.5". Depending on how the foliage fills out this year, I might do it!
