Franks trees

Nice start! Here is what you have to look forward to. It will be nice once they leaf out. These are from Frank also. I bought them three years ago and had them on a slab for a year. Changed them to this pot, which is also from Frank that had an elm forest in it for a while. There are five trees with the largest about 2" caliper.
Good luck!

Tim

Patrick,
The forest looks good. I know that you guys probably would have liked to get the tridents a little later but these guys were leafing out in a big way.
Here are two pictures, one of a forest I put together last year and one that a friend of mine did in 04 from trees he got from me.

Frank,
The trees arrived with perfect timing!
You helped rescue my inner Bonsaist from wandering through a dark un-enchanted forest.
The calendar may say spring but the weather in Vermont is still winter.
This trident forest will just have to go back to the greenhouse until mud season ends.
By mid to late April we usually can begin the "In at night and out for the day 2 step shuffle".

Thanks again,
Patrick

Your weather sucks. While it is cooler today, yesterday it was 87, which was nice but a little too warm this early.
