Satsuki pre bonsai. Any ideas or Opinions?

Here is a pic of an azalea that I receently bought. Since I can't find my digital, I thought I would post the picture that was given to me by the seller.

Any advice on care and styling (maybe even virtuals of future style) would be appreciated.

I also posted 2 other trees on the Bonsai Transformation forum by accident. If you could respond to those as well I would be very greatful!

Thanks again for your time and advice!

Unlike most trees azaleas are bottom dominant, always leave more up top. I'd remove it back to one line so that it looks like a tree rather than a bush.

Maybe something like this intially. As new buds appear select for additional branches. Appears to have reverse taper, if true, correct by letting first branch grow. You may be able to give it some movement by wiring trunk and thinner apex branch.

Big help

Thanks for the response Jim. I will take a look at it and see about making those changes.
