New Boxwood. What To Do With It Now.....

Here is an ebay find. Sorry, I don't have my digital. Can't seem to find the bugger. Here is the only picture I have of it. Let me know what you would do with it if it were yours.

This guy I bought it from had it in a big plastic pot that was cut off. It looks like it is in potting soil. Should I wait until spring to repot it?

Thanks for any advice you can give on it's care and styling!

looks like you can make it into the wild oak style fairly easily. All you really need to do is let it fill out. Nice find, especially on ebay.

Looks to have been in a 1 gallon can for a loooooong time!

Ditto oak style. Needs about 2 years in the currant can and then you should have enough foliage.

Maybe these will help. Unfortunately it is in some nasty center justified page layout:

http://www.lcbsbonsai.org/Newslette...alvsLiveOak.htm

In my opinion, the oak style is more a question of branch and silhouette development, so it could be applied against other trunk forms - like a clump

or an Informal upright

Regards,

Matt
