Nerifolia

Greetings all, This Ficus nerifolia was grown from a whip years and years ago. Being in the cold and frigid north tropicals are not a focus point for me year round but a but a diversion in those cold months. This is what I call a fiddle tree when cabin fever sets in. Anyway, with the first frost already here. I thought I'd take a picture of this and submit it to you. Tell me what you think good or bad and where it should go. Give me food for thought when those cold winds blow.

The point where the chop was made half way up the trunk is not too subtle, but the interesting roots make up for it.

Nice tree. It does have a rather pine like shape to it but what the heck. I love those ficus trees.

Keep it up.

Barry your so right, the problem with not being able to stick it in the ground and let it chunk up. This is a perfect example why putting something in the ground for a year or two can make a drastic difference. In pot culture a few shoots popping just above the cut might of helped ...alas I've been denied. So I have to live with it. I'd sell it before redesigned, it took way to long to develop it being out of zone.
