The Naked Sumo
The presents are opened and scattered about. The house is quiet. Rain is pouring down. A perfect day to work on a bonsai.
I defoliated my sumo-silverberry and cut off the old wire. Then trimming and rewiring. The image is the end of the work for today. Mike

Mike if there's anyway you can do something about sending some of that rain this way, we here in north Tx. sure would appreciate it. It's starting to get serious here without any real measurable rain in months now. I have cracks in some parts of my back yard where you could literally fall down and get hurt. Oh yeah, I think the tree and pot are a good match up also. ![]()

Thanks all, for your kind words. Here's a "birds-eye" view of the silverberry.

I have an 80 gig aux. hard drive with USB connection to my computer. I use it strictly for image storage. This image is a close-up of another silverberry showing the berries. Mike
