My Small Winter Gallery And Requiem

Here are a few of my bonsai in winter condition. My friend, Howard Smith, was kind enough to let me use his fine facilities. I'm happy to have these images as now I'm selling these bonsai. Don't wanna, but needs be.

Andy I'm amazed that Elm #1 was rough nursery stock only 5 years ago. How did you achieve such a feat? Surely you didn't build those branches from scratch in that time.

Great work

Andy,

Wonderful ramification on that first elm! You've got to tell us what they're putting in the water out there...

Regards,

Matt

Agreed!

The 1st elm is a very evocative and beautiful image. Shame you've got to sell it Andy.

Regards,

Fish.

Jase,

Actually, it was about 4 years. Here's the tree when I got it. The pot is tilted somewhat toward the direction it will be planted, but it needed a bit more angle than this.

Awesome photos and development of your elm. The windswept is truly spectacular.
