My Sageretia,shhhh!

Shhh, I'm not rerally supposed to have this till Father's Day but had to photograph it!

It does need some work but it has great potential i feel.
Not bad for an ebay buy!

Wow larry,
that's really nice.

Looks healthy too, I've never gotten to work with this species before.
I think this particular tree has lots of potential. My personal approach to this tree is to lower the height somewhat. Looks like there might be some nice branches at the bottom to work with.

However, great buy!

Larry,

Nice Fathers day gift!

I have a cutting of a Sag. that I have been particularly brutal to. Neglect etc. never-the-less it remains a trooper and continues to grow. I am not advocating that you be brutal to yours, just throwing some thoughts at ya..... there are some pretty great specimens on the net and in books....I hope that one day mine (with better care !!! ) will come to be a good one too. Yours is well on its way.

Enjoy your trees!!!

Paul

Sageretia update

here it is after some thinning and pruning. Also had to do a bit of wiring. Looks quite different now, and can see a lot more of the trunk.
