James, I have just joined this forum and was wondering how you have styled this Myrtle.
I have been pruning full size trees for a Master Gardener project here in Elizabeth City. One thing we do not do is dead head the branch's, we cut back to the base of the limb leaving a long tapered limb. It is rather difficult to do this and maintain a certain style, so I would go with what you see out around town. This way you can direct the branch growth in the direction you wish. A current photo would be helpful. Mark |
