Re: my humble place.

Marko. nice set up. Your trees are coming along. As for the budding out, patience! It takes time but hopefully you will get more branches than you have. Just be careful.... the Bonsai Bug may catch you! You may have to find a new home with more room for the trees that are yet to come!

Re: my humble place.

Marko,

Looking great so far! You're making good use of the space, and it looks like you already have a number of really nice trees.

As I remember all too well from my time in Atlanta, growing bonsai on a second-floor balcony has its own set of challenges (picture below). For me, it was a neighbor who had his couch on the balcony below, and got REALLY ticked off when my plants dripped down through the wood slats. I ended up buying a few large plastic bins, putting them under shelving with the trees, and letting the runoff drip into those bins.

But you can do really nice things even with those constraints. Sounds like you are off to a terrific start!

Re: my humble place.

Great start, Marko! Let's just hope you won't make as many mistakes as I already have. I guess it'd be better if I lived in the southern Europe too, but what can you do!

Mr. Crow, a truly wonderful tree on the left side of the picture! Please post it in the Spring Show.

Sincerely, Zeb

Re: my humble place.

Hi Marko,

It is a great beggining, you must grow your buds well in a shade.

Re: my humble place.

I forgot to tell you that here in Brasil we have many mango tree too, mangueiras in Brazilian Portuguese, but we have a problema with bonsai from mango tree, the leaf remains big, even when treated with several cut.
