My Bonsai's Have Gone Up In Smoke!

Well bad news I'm afraid, one of my favourite bonsai hunting grounds has just gone up in flames.
There was a couple I had pruned and ready to go but there just charcoal now.
The whole area looks like a wasteland now but I'm sure it will green up again once it gets a bit of rain.

Not a nice site! Hopefully the trees you had prepared will only gain a bit of character, and will live. I would keep my eye on them, Mother Nature is much better at doing the right thing for her trees, she will keep the cycle going!

Up in smoke

So sorry to hear that you have had a set back in your collecting fields. Rain will help and also time. I would keep looking as I don't think that the olive is finished in your neck of the woods.

That's a shame. Was it lightning or a controlled burn, or...?
