morning coffee

This will give everyone an idea of what apartment living with bonsai looks like. As I sit with my morning cup of coffee this first picture are the trees at my right hand.

and in this picture you can see the trees at my left hand. The maple in front is sitting on my turntable. This is how my morning starts every day.

Rips.. nice view. Your morning coffee must be enjoyable with the view that you have. I must say, there are several trees in each view that would look great in my yard! Want to send them over?? Didn't think so... oh well... had to ask!

Jay; Your suggestion is not that far feched. In central California I can grow a tree with a 3 in. trunk in about 1/2 the time it takes in NY. If you get out of my chair and walk to the corner this is what you see

i never thought i'd say it, but
I WANT MY YARD BACK!

i hate mowing grass, but my inlaws ahve this great solution.
get rid of all the greass, lay down some nice gravel, build up a gorgeous garden around the fenceline, and voila! a nice backyard with no mowing!
dreaming.
alas, in my apartment i will be confined to a calcony, so i will have to live vicariously through this forum.

thanks for the cheer-up!

hehe

I AM hoping to get my brother back into it, and he has a yard...hmmm.

Cali sounds great, perhaps some day...

Rips, thanks for the thoughts. At this time the trip is in the pre-planning stage. I will let you know when it moves to the plan stage. I WILL give you plenty of notice!

It would be great to meet the members of the group face to face!
