Michigan All-State Bonsai Show

The Michigan All-State Show was last weekend at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. There was 127 entered in the show. The Garden displayed some very nice trees from its collection. Lots of vedors with plenty of goods for sale too. The demonstrations were well-received. Many great bonsai enthusiasts attended. I believe the turnout was excellent.

The quality of trees displayed was very good. Unfortunately, I only have a few photos.

Here are a few of the trees that were displayed.

Hey Don, thanks for posting, nice trees. I recognize some as being yours. Glad you decided to drag some of those nice trees out for people to see. Only one problem I can see is you didn't take enough pictures !

Thanks for posting Don! I have more pics but have not even got them onto the computer yet. I will try to get more posted soon. The workshops and demos went very well! I did three of them myself, 3-way demo with very nice shimpaku junipers, a large branch bending demo on one of my collected junipers and a penjing demo.

A great show this year for sure!!!

Newt
