Mealey Bug - The Photo

Just playing around with my new camera and took this picture of a Mealey bug on my Greed Island Ficus. I remeber when I first encountered these pests I could not find a good photo to confirm my bug diagnosis. Since I think this picture very accurately represents what they look like I wanted to post it. Of course there isn't a size reference here to show how tiny this little guy actually is but suffice to say he was much smaller than the camera/picture makes him look.

Any yes I "nuked" him after taking the photo.

Stay tuned....I'll add some pics later. I'm only lucky enough to have mealey and scale available this time of year.
