Lenz In Paradise

My teacher, Nick Lenz, recently visited for a couple of days and we went out wandering the Texas countryside for likely yamadori locations. While we were out, I snapped this photo of Nick walking along the river. Thought I'd share it with you here.

Kind regards,
Andy Rutledge

Thanks. Actually, it is just my 35mm Cannon. I scanned the photo and played with it in Fireworks. I don't have a digital yet. Man, a ditigal would sure make life easier for me.

Andy, I actually find that surprising that you do not have a digitial of some sort. With all that you do with your bonsai, your web development, and the BTO Journal and all......

No judgment, just surprised is all....I got mine as a gift, and boy, with a new daughter, some bonsai stuff and just the love of photoediting my photography, I dont care to be with out it.....of course I keep my Canon Eos very handy as well.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes, I agree that I should ;-) have a digital, with all that I do and try to do, but I'm not really wealthy enough to buy one. Part of the reason for this is that anything less than 5 Megapixel is useless for my purposes - and those cost a pretty penny. Prices are coming down, but they're still out of my price range. Surely one day...

In the mean time, my Cannon Eos Rebel works great. Just have to drive to Eckard's to get film developed and wait an hour. Ugh.

Kind regards,
Andy Rutledge

never install the software that comes with the camera. Get yourself a $30 card reader and a decent photo edit program and you're done.

Regards,

Matt
