Larch Progression

Guys,
This series is the progression of a small ugly larch that I have been trying to do something with .The first pic is of the tree uncollected.

This third pic is of the tree after two years of growth and reflection as to my approach as to how to style the weed . I know there may have been other options but I preferred a smaller tree as I have other larger ones and this is not really that old. Note the root growth after two years

This is the tree after a month of growth and a quick styling of the one remaining branch.It was potted right back in the training potwhere it remained two more years.

This is the tree today after a more lengthy wiring and potting in it's first cheap pot. the tree is 9.5 in. high with a 1 1/2 in. trunk.
I think it shows promise and would welcome virts and comments esp. concerning it's future.
