I would put it outside straight away normally, but today the weather is mental, almost gale force winds and stuff so im going to wait until i can get outside in reasonable weather to find somewhere reasonably sheltered from such weather, so that it will be ok in the future.

The camera is quite an old digital camera and isnt very easy to take good quality photos inside with

Question kyohime

I couldn't see your photo's must be a plug in problem. I have a beautiful kyohime that I bought from a bonsai nursary over a year ago now.

They are beautiful trees. Be sure to keep it protected from too much sunlight and strong winds as this will damage the leaves, trust me i have found out the hard way.

A question i do have if anyone can answer it is - what should I do about dead buds that have been caught out by late frosts, I think I have managed to lose two branches due to a frost!!!, do I have to leave the buds as they are, or will removing them save the branches?

Of course I would like to save the branches as they make up part of the shape of the tree. If anyone can help i would be grateful

Not a plug problem, this thread is over a year old, please post your question in a new thread.
Thanks
Rowan

Indeed Matt, you can delete this thread if you wish, the tree is dead + the photos are no more.

Rowan
