Kingsvilles and rock
Today I cut the bottom of this rock flat, and cemented it to the tray. After it was well set, I planted these 2 old Kingsville boxes. Height from table is 12 inches.

Interesting...Composition is ok...but spoiled by the shorter tree having a trunk twice as large as the taller tree. I would try to hide some girth of that trunk behind the edge of the stone.
I have a lead on marble trays, which would really help with all these penjings you are cranking out. The last one you did with the huge lipped pot and this pot do nothing for these landscapes. /|\ III Bonsai-al

Nice try Matt, the line on top has 6 dashes and the line below has 5.
Might wash if the tray was say... 8 feet by 10 feet. But with these small distances it just don't work.
