Kingsville Boxwood
I was under the impression that Kingsville boxwoods were a fairly recent (in the last 30 years or so) development. But last fall, while traveling through Georgia I went to the Bonsai Monk Monastery and looked around their nusrery. They had a large Kingsville that they had listed as 80 years old. I wondered if anyone out there knows just how old this variety is?
I know they grow slow. I have some cuttings ready to pot up this summer and they will probably never amount to much in my life time..... Just curious. susieq |
