Question Juniperus Literati - I hope

I have one more juniper to show. I have done nothing with this one, other than potting it and supporting it. It grew from a crack on a rockface. All I needed was a crowbar and out came rootbal. The small Lutzula came with the rootball,

Does this tree have what it takes to become a literati? I must confess, I fand this style the hardest to work with. Help wanted and needed

The photo on the right speaks to me as being the better of the two as far as the trunk is concerned. What you do with the foliage can only make the tree stronger. I would remove the "lutzula" (gotta love that word) and give it its own pot; it will make a great accent for this tree and let the tree have the pot to itself.

literati

You are right....this is one of the most difficult styles to pull off. I have only seen half a dozen really nice ones. It is my favorite style and I do not have a good one..........sigh. Can't wait to see how this one turns out. Do keep us posted.
