Arrow Juniperus Communis

I have been sorting through some old photos tonight trying to get a few scanned into my record files. I thought I would show you how this tree has changed since collection as it got some comments on another thread a few weeks ago.

It is a common Juniper collected in 1998. This pic shows me holding onto the tree for grim death. I had been climbing up a rocky cliff when I slipped and grabbed the first thing to stop me sliding all the way down. I shouted for help from my bonsai buddy Philip, who laughed at me and went to get the camera. With friends that that eh!!

This was pointed out to me on the other thread and I intend to play about with it at the end of the month to see how it looks.

and this is how it looks now. The only change is the shari has been extended here and there. I am doing this slowly over the next few years.

All comments welcome as usual.
