Thanks for the virtuals! The first one Juliet made is what i had in mind, but i also like the other virtuals. Clay, i don't mind that you cann't see the potential of this pre-bonsai. I had the same problem when i started with Bonsai. I'll make a bigger photo when i've got some time. Doody, the tree can be split, but with some risk. If nothing works, i'll make a Moyo-Gi with the biggest trunk and cut the other or make a small Jin with it.

If you decide to go with the jin idea, why not layer it so you have another tree?

Juniperus levonus.....

Clay,

Sometimes I dont see anything in my own trees. Yet someone will point them out. Ya hear that story of the kid who said let the air out of the tires of that semi to get it unstuck from a tunnel, when 30 or so engineers and such couldnt think of it......I feel that way sometimes.

You shouldnt keep your opinions to yourself, I for one appreciate all that you contribute, here and over at the other forums.

For the material here, it is hard to think of where to go, I also thought that Jules' first virt was where I would go. But rather that copy what she said, I monkey'd around with some other variables.

I think for one, try to get alot more branching on this baby. It has the moves, and it has health. More branching would give you alot more to work with.....can this be done? Sure it can. My junipers bud back. I totally butchered a perfectly good shimpaku. It gave me some alternative branching and gave me something to work with in the future.
FWIW department, here is a cr@ppy virtual.

I really didnt mean to come off saying 'keep your opinions to yourself clay', hell my opinion is usually the one that differs. I guess you were the last post, so i sort of responded to you, sorry if i offended you at all Im sure i didnt.

I just like the line of the tree and with some pinching and inner branches, i think a lot can be done with it, its just not a clear cut style, it can go a few ways...thinking thinking...
