A Juniper and Two Months Pinching

This first picture shows a juniper procumbens shortly after purchase. It was styled by someone other than me.

Re: A Juniper and Two Months Pinching

This picture shows how it looks after only two months of pinching the buds.

I think the Board Admin's crystal ball might be right.

Re: A Juniper and Two Months Pinching

I love this juniper. Could I get a size in inches please. I tried a new pot. I am trying to build a pot archive, and this was just a sample. I think it looks good though.

Best regards, Bonsaial

Your pretty close Zeb. It measures in at 11in. in height and around 14in. in width.

A Juniper and Nine Months Pinching

I thought I would post this one again but now titled "after nine months pinching". I think it came along pretty good for nine months, wouldn't you say? I'm also looking at a possibillity for a different pot.

This is a pretty tree and these are very nice postings. Thomas, do you plan to open it up more at some time in the future? That always seems to be the theme of the Bonsai Today articles that deal with improving trees that have a lot of very dense foliage as this tree now has.
