Posts: 703	Juniper Semi Cascade I purchased this juniper (03/29/02) from a local bonsai nursery in Covington,LA. It hadn't been worked for a long time and gotten quite leggy, so I got a good deal. The before photo was taken after I started thinning, so it was a little bushier. I think it will need a different pot. Any suggestions? I also want to make a shameless plug for Guy Guidry's Bonsai Northshore. He's a great teacher, artist and his nursery is a hub for the bonsai community in the area. Most of mine are mica! But I think the basic type of pot is right...it's just too tall for the tree. I chopped the bottom off to get the idea. Also, when it is repotted I think it would look nicer a little above the edge of the pot, not leaning on it. I like the tree. I think you got a good one.

Posts: 328	Re: Juniper Semi Cascade I like your tree also and I think you've done a great job styling it. This is my suggestion for the pot.
