Juniper Cascade

This is a juniper procumbrens that I've owned for quite a few
years. It was a yard landscape rescue that my kids couldn't
avoid trampling all over while playing. I saved one radial
limb to train as a cascade. I think I need to fine tune and thin it out some. Any thoughts on how much to prune? The unglazed pot it standing on is what I plan on repotting into
later this spring. Comments and critique wellcome.
