juniper advice and a new ficus

Hi all

once again, i need advice on styling my juniper. only 2 branches left now. the short one will probably be jinned.

there are also 3 pictues of a ficus i found laying around a few month ago. it's about 40 cm tall (with about 10 more in the ground.now that the winter is over it started sprouting new leaves.

Tal,

If you can, post pictures of the front, sides, and back of that juniper for us. The top view is basically useless for giving styling advice.

If that were my ficus, I would cut the trunk off about 1 1/2 inches above those forming branches after the leafs harden off.

Hey Tal.

I concur with Master Heath. Check out Carl's little riff on bonsai pictures -- you don't need to have professional photos for styling advice but some of these tips may help: Old Mister Crow's Guide to Photographing Bonsai and Kusamono

The ficus should be allowed to grow for some time before you do anything with it. It needs to regain its strength.
