Jerusalem Pine
Hi,
Last Weekend I had finished repotting my deciduous trees, this Weekend I had repotted the evergreens, the sky are clear blue and the temperature was 20°C (68°F). In my opinion, the only interesting new tree is this Shohin Jerusalem pine - Pinus Halepensis, the Jerusalem pine is a two needle pine. It was collected from a mountain near Jerusalem and was potted in a training pot:

This Friday I had repotted it in a bonsai pot, it has 3cm (1.2") trunk diameter, and its height is 26cm (10"), I believe that with a few years off training it will be a very interesting tree.
BTW, to my best knowledge it is the only Shohin Jerusalem pine - Pinus Halepensis.

Due to special circumstances a lot of my trees had died, this tree is one of them.

Sory to hear that Carmi , it was indeed on it's way to becoming a very nice tree ! Don't give up,...and don't forget to show us some pics of your next shohin Jerusalem pine. It's always sad to lose a tree.
