Japanese Garden....with Bonsai!!

Okay so today I went to a Japanese Garden in Long Beach, CA, and besides having a really awesome Japanese Garden, they had some very neat bonsai. I thought I'd post a few pics. Unfortunately I didn't have anything to write on, so I'll do my best with telling species, but otherwise it'll just be pics.

First up, a Chinese Elm:

Second actually isn't a bonsai, but I thought I'd post it anyways. A pretty big (to me) Ginkgo Biloba tree:

This is one of their many junipers, in particular, a forest planting. The majority of their junipers were either California Junipers or J.P. Nana's. Can't remember which this is:

A cascading Juniper, this one astounds me as to how it doesn't fall over:

And the final tree, a pomegranate. The circumfrence of the trunk was probably the diameter of about one and three quarters of a CD. Impressive.

The pomagranate is the best by far out of these. It seems as though_the forest plantings are very high but not very wide, which is accentuated by small pots. Just me I suppose.
