J. procumbens nana

This pro. nana belongs to a friend. She left it with me to do a little touch-up and photograph it for her.

The origin of this juniper was from wholesale nursery stock that was used for harvesting cuttings. I guess it's age to be 30 years +.

Height from pot rim is about 12 inches.

Nice tree, Mike!

I love the movement and the trunk is showing its health. Not too bad for a cutting mill.

This is the second time I 've heard that a beautiful tree was once previously used as a cutting source for a nursery operation. How common is this practice?

I know one local guy who does it with a bird's nest spruce.

Very nice tree.

Very common to see a plant marked "Not for Sale, Stock Plant"

I really like this tree,...great trunk, good balance, appearance of age is getting there.
Though if I may nitpick (remember this is coming from a guy who would trade pretty much his entire collection for this tree, lol ) I feel like the apex could be dropped by about 1/5 to 1/6 of the total foliage mass. The tree has a very linear dynamic from side to side, that would be even more clearly stated with a narrower foliage mass.
Just my 2 pennies worth.
