Old Mister Crow

Inspiration: Morton Bay Fig, Santa Barbara
A few weeks ago I was down in Santa Barbara, and found time to visit the 126-year-old Morton Bay Fig that graces the grounds of the railroad station. This tree is the largest of its kind in the US, and is truly astonishing to see.
I don't do tropicals myself, but it's hard to not to start after seeing this wonder. Here are a few pictures of the tree.
