Hi there.. i've a problem identifying wat kinda of tree is this. What is it's name and what species?

Ps: add comments on styling too pls.. thanks..

My nerifolia/salicifolia foliage is more slender than those pictured here, mine also has an alternate leaf pattern, it seems these are not. (I must qualify this by saying mine are also in dispair!! )

My thoughts were pomegranite. But just guessing.

i can't say what it is but i can say, as did pdbbonsai, that my nerifolia's foliage is much more narrow and elongated with alternating leaves.
