Identify this tree please

I got this tree a few weeks ago but I got rid of the name which was on the old pot without remembering it. So could you please give me some suggestions on what type of tree it is. Anything!

description: the flowers are white and very small which open up on a 1cm long thin stem. The leaves are wider at the end (like a drop of water about to fall) and have 3 pairs of "teeth". The bark is rough and looks like it has been burnt slightly.

Any ideas of the type would be appriciated.

Re: Identify this tree please

Hi, do the white flowers turn into berries, after the flower dies?
I was going to guess a "Fukien Tea", as the leaves you describe look like that. My guess if a Carmona species....

Hi... I can not see the size of the leaves or the size of the flower, but it looks like a Serrisa to me. If you have taken it out of the pot and done any work on the roots you would know. Serrisa have a bit of an oder to them.

Ha Ha Jay. That's pretty good. A bit of an odor is a mild understatement
