Dear bonsai lovers,
Here are my other try-outs up for judging. I hope you don't mind me posting all these photo's but then again it is the gallery...[list:af4cdcb357]
[*:af4cdcb357]Starting with the silly looking Serissa (at least that's what I think it is, or has anyone another thought?). What should I do with the stumps? And all those new growth?
[*:af4cdcb357]2nd. my very small (12 cm tall) Ficus which I started from a new seedling. I want to make this a Hokidachi form.
[*:af4cdcb357]My Pinus something... I got from the forrest this fall. The picture is not that sharp to see all the branches but I believe it has potential... When and how should I prune it?
[*:af4cdcb357]Last for this thread my [u:af4cdcb357]very[/u:af4cdcb357] small "Fagus sylvatica"... Yes I do have patience with it. Collected from the wild.[/list:u:af4cdcb357]
As you see I love the blue pots. Dear all - I do appreciate some tips and critics. As a beginner I thouroughly enjoy my new found hobby but have no ambition to have winning show bonsai.

Re: humble 2

And last my Fagus... in winter glory.
Folks it is snowing now in Holland and I hope my outside bonsai's are going to survive. It hardly get's below 10 degrees Celsius here and I keep watching for to much water - freezing the roots.
Thank you all for looking at my experiments and take care.
Kind regards,
Eric Criens

Re: humble 2

To eric
the ficus looks very good for the start i would say just a bit of pruning out to gain a bit more deffiniction, as regardes to the other three why not wait for a while well till spring and plant them in bigger pots for a sesion or two and let them grow.
they all look a little dwaft buy the pots and as you make grolsh in hollod and the saying is dont rush things.
