How some of my trees are doing

I havent gone away,,just been busy putting up a greenhouse and collecting cacti and succulents to fill it!

But my trees have done pretty well through the summer and have put on qwuite a bit of growth, and girth!

First up, my black alder trained as a semi cascade.

Then my Acer plamtaum which left to its own devices has seeminlgy taken to a windswept/semi cascade style!

And the Cotoneaster franchettii which has got over its aphid infestation and put lots of growth on.
