Now your talking something I can appreciate. I've got a buddy that has a 427 SC, the damn thing will break your neck. Fastest car I've ever ridden in, the problem is finding gas around here with out having to add octane booster to it. Those 427 side oilers were a beast. His is red with white stripes. He offered to let drive it but I passed, all I needed was to put a scratch on it and he would own my house.

I also have had the pleasure to ride shotgun in a 427 Harry. Frightening fast, good G load, open cock-pit, unbelievable acceleration all spelled wet your pants...never will forget that ride in the snake. I also passed talking the wheel.

Last I heard they went back into production, but they wern't exactly the same . Too many safety regulations to meet today that wern't in place in the 60's, but I would still take a new one.

Problem witht he 427 cobra is that good luck finding a real one.I f you find a real one , good luck being able to afFord it. I for one wouldnt buy a replica or kit. Superformance ones are nice, but at the end of the day its still a kit car.
