That is so nice Beard!
The "Hobbits of Maidenhead" have a great home.
Reminds me also of the Keebler cookie commercials.
Dale
P.S. Hows that bronze/brass rivet drum pot coming?

Taking a while to find the materials. Brass plate for a straight sided pot is very expensive, brass bar big enough to turn a pot from is uber expensive. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled, maybe have a nose in the scrap man's lorry next time he comes round.

Regards,

Chris.

A thank you note

Last week the items arrived that I had bought with the $100 gift certificate that Stone Lantern offered as top prize in the 2006 articles contest.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Wayne and Stone Lantern for putting up this prize.

I chose 3 books,All three books are superb, I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Thanks again to all involved with providing and distributing the prizes.

Regards,

Chris.

Incredible work. Very cool to be able to read about and follow along with the creation of this living representation of a fictional landscape.

When can I move in!

I have always been a big fan of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. This is so cool!
