YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Jonny, Hi! I only have one Hinoki and it is young, therefore I am not the one to comment on your tree. I will give you this advise..
When taking a picture of a tree, try and have a solid background and a reasonable amount of light to show the inside by the trunk. Your pictures are very busy and the area by the trunk a bit dark. You can use a whilte piece of paper (real big) or a sheet or a very solid background. As for the lighting, try it outside (I can see you are) on a slightly cloudy, but bright, day. This should help in getting better pixs and I'm sure the more established photog's here will give you even better advise. Jay

I just purchased a hinoki cypress at local greenhouse. The tree is in a 3 galon nursey pot,and is to late for repoting.I live in an apartment,so I was wondering if anybody could give advice in how to keep the root-ball from freezing and dying this coming winter.
