Hibiscus

a pretty chunky hibiscus i am working on. Any comments or suggestions?

wow! I remember seeing your hibiscus!! What are the soil requirements? They don't usually tell you in the major bonsai books. Do you know Walter? or anyone?

any soil that is good for maples or elms will do. I use a lot of peat in it.

Thanks! I think I should leave those stumps? I think this hibiscus has been growing for about 20 years.
