Help with identification

Hello,
I have had this bonsai for at least 6 years now. I want to find another one but I can't figure out what type it is. Here is some information.
As shown in the picture of the pot we keep it submerged in water all of the time. In the summer it can get as hot as 75 degrees and in the winter as cold as 55. The tree has always been kept indoors. For the first few years it was near a west facing window but for the last few years it has been kept in the middle the room. It gets fertalized twice a year once in fall and once in spring spring. It has only been trimmed once more than four years ago. In the time it has not grown much. Just the extra two layers on top. A third layer is just getting started. The moss at the base was added two years ago. It has never been repotted. I have been reading up on bonsais and I realize that much of how this one is treated is not considered propper care. Thankfully it has always remained healthy.
Thank you for any help you can provide me in identifying this bonsai.
Eric

Wow

Im really surprised that that Norfolk Pine is still alive, I would be replacing that tray of water with a tray of moist gravel, mainly because of the salt deposits you have coming through the soil from the continuous water as shown in the pic. They dont mind salt due to the fact that they come from the Norfolk Islands in the Pacific which aint very big and is very windy but that salt looks way too much for even a Norfolk to handle.
Regards
Eric
